Job Finder collects the data needed to search, save opportunities, maintain an application tracker, and understand which parts of the site are used. We do not store your search terms.

Account data
When you sign in, we store your email address, profile preferences, saved jobs, saved searches, and tracker entries. If you request source access, we also store your name, registered email address, reason, and the administrator's decision. Job applications happen on the original provider website; resumes and application forms are not stored here.
Page analytics
We record which pages you visit and when, so we can see which parts of Job Finder are used. Each record holds the page path, the time, a randomly generated session identifier, a coarse device category (desktop, mobile, tablet, or bot), and your user ID when you are signed in. Search terms are never recorded. The page path is stored on its own and the tracking endpoint rejects any value containing a query string, so what you type into the search box is not written to our analytics. Raw IP addresses and raw user-agent strings are not retained.
Application redirects
Redirect analytics contain the job occurrence, time, optional signed-in user ID, and a country code when supplied by the hosting platform. Raw IP addresses and user-agent strings are not retained.
Retention and control
Dead-letter records expire after 14 days, page analytics after 90 days, and redirect analytics after 365 days. Signed-in users can export their account data — including your page analytics records — or permanently delete your account from the Account page. Deleting your account removes your analytics rows as well as your profile, saved jobs, saved searches, and tracker entries.
