Turn information into decisions

Explore data and analytics jobs worldwide

Use the existing data role family broadly, then confirm that each preview involves data analysis, engineering, science, or closely related work.

Reviewed July 28, 2026. Available globally but noindex because the current data role family includes unrelated titles above the 90% relevance threshold.

Separate the main data role families

Data analyst, analytics engineer, data engineer, data scientist, machine-learning engineer, business-intelligence developer, and data product roles can share tools while solving different problems. Analysts often focus on questions and communication, engineers on reliable pipelines and models, and scientists on experimentation or predictive methods. Read the outcomes and collaborators described in the listing rather than choosing by title alone.

The current Job Finder data category is intentionally broad and can contain false matches when “data” appears in another context. This web-only release does not alter classification rules. The page therefore remains noindex until its reviewed sample reaches the relevance threshold, while the global guide and preset remain available to users.

Build a role-specific query

Combine the role with a domain or core skill: healthcare data analyst, SQL analytics engineer, product data scientist, cloud data engineer, or machine-learning operations. Avoid listing every possible tool. Employers often describe equivalent work with different platforms, and strong fundamentals can transfer. Add experience level, work mode, and location only after the role intent is clear.

Domain knowledge can be as important as technology. Finance, healthcare, logistics, marketing, scientific research, and public-sector data each bring distinct definitions, regulations, and stakeholders. Look for listings that explain the decisions the team supports, the quality expectations, and who will use the output.

Evaluate evidence and working conditions

Review data sources, scale, tooling, deployment responsibilities, experimentation, governance, privacy, and communication expectations. A role asking for dashboards and stakeholder recommendations differs from one owning streaming pipelines or production models. Confirm whether coding, statistics, cloud infrastructure, visualization, or domain expertise is required or merely preferred.

For remote roles, verify applicant countries, time-zone overlap, access restrictions, and any office travel. For compensation, keep the source currency and location context. Do not infer salary or seniority from a classification confidence value. That percentage describes how completely a record was categorized; it does not validate the job or measure its quality.

Share data work without exposing sensitive information

Use public, synthetic, or properly anonymized datasets in portfolios. Explain the question, data limitations, method, validation, and decision rather than presenting a notebook without context. Never publish employer, customer, patient, or candidate information without authorization. If an assessment includes real-looking sensitive data, verify the employer and handling requirements before proceeding.

Be cautious with requests to install unknown software, purchase equipment, or provide identity and banking information early in the process. Locate the vacancy through the employer’s official site and verify recruiter domains. Job Finder supports discovery and organization; the listing source controls the complete description, assessment, application, and hiring decision.

If you’re a close but not exact match with the description, we hope you’ll still consider applying. Want to learn more about life at Klaviyo? Visit klaviyo.com/careers to see how we empower creators to own their own destiny. Job Title: Sr. Lead AI Engineer Location: Boston, MA This role is based in our Boston, MA hub (Onsite-5x week). About the Role At Klaviyo, we believe the future of software isn’t just better productivity tools for humans—it’s systems that can run, optimize, and adapt themselves based on outcome and reward signals. We’ve already built the infrastructure and applications that sit between businesses and consumers—serving 183,000+ customers, billions of consumer profiles, and hundreds of billions of messages and conversion events. Now we’re investing heavily in Marketing AI and Service AI: the shared services and agentic capabilities that power AI‑native experiences across Klaviyo. As a Sr. Lead AI Engineer in the AI & Analytics organization, you’ll be the technical leader for a set of high‑impact AI services and agentic systems. You’ll own architecture and execution for complex, distributed backend systems; guide other engineers through design and implementation; and partner closely with product, machine learning, and data science to turn AI ideas into reliable, scalable production capabilities. This is a hands-on tech lead role, not a people‑manager role. How You’ll Make a Difference Define and improve the engineering architecture for Service and Marketing AI capabilities. Lead the design of scalable, low‑latency backend systems and APIs that power our AI products and agents for 183K+ customers, handling billions of events and interactions. Build and harden AI serving systems. Lead the development of services that host and orchestrate AI models (LLMs, tools, evaluators, retrieval systems), with clear contracts, SLOs, and observability so other teams can depend on them. Evolve our agentic architecture. Drive the technical roadmap for Service and Marketing AI agents—improving tool use, autonomy, and reliability so agents can safely take actions on behalf of customers and internal users with minimal human intervention. Set engineering standards for AI services. Establish best practices for evaluation, safety/guardrails, prompt and model versioning, offline and online tests, and incident response for AI‑backed systems; hold the bar for design reviews and code quality. Lead cross‑team technical work. Act as the primary technical interface between Service / Marketing AI and other product/platform teams—clarifying ownership boundaries, aligning on interfaces, and unblocking dependencies across hubs and time zones. Mentor and uplevel engineers. Coach senior and mid‑level engineers through design, implementation, and operational best practices, helping them grow into stronger system owners and future tech leads. Help build the Palo Alto hub. Shape local engineering rituals, help with hiring and onboarding, and create healthy patterns for cross‑hub collaboration so work and career opportunities are not constrained by geography. Measure what matters. Define and track key metrics for your systems—availability, latency, cost‑to‑serve, agent success rates, eval scores, and customer adoption—and use those insights to drive roadmap and technical decisions. Transform engineering and product development workflows by putting AI at the center, building & utilizing agentic coding tools and AI-first working. Who You Are Seasoned backend engineer & tech lead. 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend and distributed systems; you’ve led complex projects or areas end‑to‑end and acted as the

Chargeback Specialist

SumUp

About the team: SumUp's Disputes team sits at the heart of our financial integrity operations, protecting both our customers and the business from fraud and financial loss. As card transaction volumes grow rapidly across our 37 markets, so does the complexity and volume of disputes we handle — making this team's work more critical than ever. We're building out the team to meet strict PSD2 compliance requirements and ensure every customer who reports a dispute gets a fast, fair, and thorough resolution. This role is a direct response to that growth: you'll join a team of specialists who are the last line of defence for cardholders facing fraud, unauthorised transactions, and unresolved payment issues, as well as for merchants disputing chargebacks raised against their businesses. What you'll do: Analyze and process dispute and chargeback claims from both cardholders (Issuing) and merchants (Acquiring), managing cases end-to-end in line with card scheme regulations via Salesforce. Handle fraud-related notifications and manage post-chargeback activities — including representments and pre-arbitration — with the relevant card schemes on both sides of a transaction. Protect customers and the business by applying the appropriate dispute processes for each case type, recovering funds and reducing financial exposure across Issuing and Acquiring portfolios. Keep up to date with AML, fraud prevention, and chargeback industry standards across both Issuing and Acquiring to ensure ongoing compliance. Communicate clearly with cardholders and merchants throughout the dispute resolution process, ensuring a consistent and positive experience regardless of the case type. Support internal and external partners by responding to information requests related to ongoing Issuing and Acquiring cases. You'll be great for this role if… You have experience working with payment systems, card transaction processes, or financial operations, with a solid understanding of how payments flow end-to-end — on both the issuing and acquiring side. You have strong attention to detail, with the ability to assess dispute cases carefully and apply the right fraud prevention or detection approach depending on whether the claim originates from a cardholder or a merchant. You're familiar with chargeback regulations, card scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard), or anti-fraud frameworks across Issuing and/or Acquiring — or have a genuine eagerness to build that knowledge quickly across both. You're comfortable navigating multiple back-office systems and platforms to gather information and reach accurate conclusions under time pressure, across different dispute workflows. You can communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and internal teams throughout complex case investigations, adapting your approach to the needs of cardholders and merchants alike. Why you should join SumUp: 🌍 Opportunity to work with SumUppers globally on large-scale fintech products used by millions of businesses worldwide, from our modern Sofia office. This involves an office-first setup 🌈 Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: be part of a workplace that values and promotes diversity, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone's perspectives are respected and embraced 📚 A dedicated annual L&D budget of €2000 and 10 paid days of educational leave which can be used to attend conferences and/or advance your career through further education 🏖 Generous time off: 25 days of paid leave, plus one extra day per year of service (up to 35), along with public holidays and special leave options 🏥 Peace of mind: additional health insurance and life insurance 💪 Stay active: on-site yoga and a co-sponsored Multisport card offering access to hundreds of sports facilities 🍽 Meal support: benefit from a tax-free food voucher program plus flexibility via our Re:Benefits platform 🚌 Easy commute: free shuttle buses connecting directly to Joliot-Curie metro station 🌴 Break4me: 1-month sabbatical after
